Ryan MacKintosh was elected to the Highland Council in 2022. Ryan sits on the City of Inverness Area Committee, the Climate Change Committee, and the Housing and Property Committee.
Ryan was born and raised in Inverness, attended both Central and Inverness High Schools and lives within the ward at May Court. He has worked in a variety of jobs in retail and tourism throughout the Highlands and currently works as a Social Carer for vulnerable individuals. He is a keen cyclist and strong environmentalist.
Ryan says, "As a Scottish Green councillor, I want to empower the youth of the Highlands and uphold Green values by pushing the climate change agenda. I want to raise local concerns and issues often ignored by career politicians."
