In December of 2023, Draeyk was selected as the Scottish Green Party candidate for the Moray West, Nairn and Strathspey Westminster constituency with a stand, “a world that celebrates nature, celebrates life,” and a question, “do you have the courage to change Today?”. This is about being a demand, on this day, for justice for people and planet, for an end to Westminster corruption and a voting system that disenfranchises voters.
Having been a farmer, a chef and a community worker Draeyk is confident that we can make the difference, because by working with the land, with the wisdom of nature, drawing on our talents and learning from each other we are unstoppable. “With the courage to change Today, we say no to an establishment that does not listen and celebrate that the Scottish Greens are here to listen and act, and we demand a brighter future for all.”
